The service was about 45 minutes long and included comments by Governor Pataki, NYS DOH Commissioner Dr. Novello, and some key legislative and other supportive folk.
I've digitized the video I took and placed it on the webserver. It's
available as a complete 45 minute file and some of the key
speakers are in stand-alone (roughly) five minute segments.
Please note that these video clips are (c) 2004 by the photographer,
namely me, but I'm quite lenient and accomodating to polite requests.
at this point the speeches by Gov. Pataki, Dr. Novello, Senate Majority Leader Bruno, Assembly Speaker Silver, and NYS EMS Council chair William Darby are available as standalone clips.
The videos are in Apple "QuickTime" format, using various compression
tradeoffs between size and quality.
The smallest video file of the complete presentation is about 40 megs
(remember, this is a 45 minute clip) and will take about 3 hours to
download; the middle quality is about 70 megs and will take about four
hours, and the largest one is 275 megs and will take a very, very, long
time...
PLEASE NOTE that many older or less capable computers will have trouble with files of this size
Of course, on a high speed connection, things will go much faster.
To watch the video(s), you may need a copy of the QuickTime viewer. It's
