Ch 5, WNYW-tv (along with other stations) broadcast a clip on Monday, 06-Jun-2005, showing off the new FDNY emergency ropes.

I'm posting this station's because it had the best interviews with the actual firefighter/designers.

The videos are in Apple "QuickTime" format, using various compressions. The smallest video is 3 megs and will take about 8 minutes to download; the middle quality is about 10 meg and will take about 30 minutes; the largest is about 20 megs and will take about an hour and a half.

(Of course, on a high speed connection, things will go much faster, so even the big ones should be ok)
